"We arranged our accomodation..." Thailand Hotel Tip by lillapenguin

Thailand Hotels: 583 reviews and 535 photos

We arranged our accomodation through the tourist information office at the Main Train Station in Bangkok. We got a very good deal, with travel and nights on Koh Samui and Koh Pang Nang.
We stayed at Long Island Beach Resort which I must say was excellent. If you want to take your chances and save money by not booking, don't worry, actually its probably a good idea as you will save on commision and there are always cheap places to stay, from basic to air conditioned.
Under 5 pounds per night (2 people sharing)

Unique Qualities: This place offers both cheap but comfortable beach huts with cold shower and fan and also larger roomed huts with air conditioning. Beach huts are excellently located by the beach within beautifully planted gardens overlooking both the ocean and the mountains of Koh Samui. The resorts offers excursions, their own taxi service, a bar and restaurant, and outside BBQ. There is also a TV room, books to read and snorkelling hire.

Price Comparison: less expensive than average
