Cafe Istanbul: "Need another culture? Go here" Atlanta Restaurant Tip by gogeo

Atlanta Restaurants: 347 reviews and 337 photos

Stepping into this place is like going to Istanbul. It has a dark atmosphere to create an intimate environment. In one room, guests sit on pillows on the floor around a tables which is even more authentic. Try the hookas (spelling?), tall smoking pipes, not tobacco but flavors. I don' t know whether it is just on the weekends or every night but there is a bellydancer that comes out and dances around the room. You can even stick money around her waist if you wanted.

Favorite Dish: The hummus is the can't miss food on the menu, as an appetizer or an entre, it is great
