Perhaps not as famous as some of the other castillos around Havana, el Castillo de Santa Dorotea is, in my opinion, the most charming. Built in 1646, it is located at the end of the Malecon, next to the Almendares River. There is a small restaurant and patio where you can have a couple drinks and papas fritas for about 3 CUC. The perfect place to go to wrap up the afternoon!
