Fremantle Prison, Fremantle: 50 reviews and 96 photos

There were two types of cells in solitary confinement. The day cells and the night cells. Prisoners were kept in the rooms on the right during the day which had only a bucket for ebullitions. There were no pieces of furniture so they had to sit on the floor. At night, prisoners were transferred over to the other side of the corridor to their night cells. There was only a thin mattress along with their bucket in these rooms. This change of cells was done in order to clean cells out.
