A real 5 star hotel, The Shang (as it is more popularly called) is right at the heart of the Makati Central Business district. Here you'll find that everything is just a stone's throw away. The Islands cafe has a buffet that will make your mouth water. We had a chance to stay at the junior suite and man it really is something. it has a magnificent view of the makati skyline plus you'll feel like a royalty with all that interior. My daughter didn't want to leave the place.

The other rooms are very good too. It practically has everything you'd want in a hotel. This hotel is a favorite of celebrities from here and around the world.

Unique Qualities: It's huge but can be cozy when you go to restaurants.
