Charles Thackray founded the medical company that bears his name, in 1902. His grandson Paul Thackray founded this museum, which opened in 1997. It has over 35,000 medical objects.

Visiting here will make you glad to be living in the 21st century; medicine in the "good old days" was a gruesome business. The museum covers all that in a graphic manner. You won't forget.
