further up the road in mingun, after the mingun pagoda and mingun bell, there's another pagoda with looks interestingly different.. this place is called the hsinbyume pagoda.. built in the early 1800s by bagyidaw in memory of his wife, hsinbyume, the pagoda sits atop a platform of seven wavy terraces.. the climb up to the top was really nice and refreshing as not only does is offer a nice view, the stairs going up also have a wind-tunnel effect giving a wonderful breeze after the scorching sun at mingun pagoda.. :)

Directions: just a short walk from the mingun bell..
