"Musee de l'Armee" Musée de l'Armee - Les Invalides Tip by Diana75
Musée de l'Armee - Les Invalides, Paris: 146 reviews and 344 photos
With Paris Museum Pass we had also free entry to Musee de l'Armee, one of the richest army museum, with more than 500,000 pieces.
Beside the sword and the armour of King Francois I and the pistol of Charles V of Spain, I've especially appreciated the Oriental Room presenting arms from Japan, India and Persia.
There are also displayed many uniforms from Napoleon's times and also an impressive collection of weapons from the 17C to the Second Empire.
A hall dedicated to the First World War presents the situation of the troops during the war through animated maps.
