"The Needles at Alum Bay are..." Isle of Wight Things to Do Tip by Vic5

Isle of Wight Things to Do: 99 reviews and 149 photos

The Needles at Alum Bay are one of the most popular tourist sights on the Isle of Wight.
Make sure that you walk down to the end of the peninsula to the Battery (a small war musuem) for great views. There's also an underground tunnel which takes you to a spot overlooking the Needles, which is where I took this pic.

Directions: Alum Bay is on the west of the island. The island itself isn't that big so if you have a car, it's easy to stay anywhere and make your way to different places each day.
