If you win a presidential election, you get to have a presidential library. If you lose, but are still considered a statesman, you can be honored with a prestigious institution such as this located on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence. The exhibit hall showcases Bob Dole's life and political career, half a century of Kansas and American history, and honors thousands of Kansans who fought alongside Dole during WW II. A highlight is the beautiful stain-glass rendering of the US flag.
