Lunch time again, and we were keen to try a place that I had read a lot about, Cervejaria Trindade, located in Barrio Alto. This former convent is renowned for the beautiful interior design, with its award winning azulejos walls.

It is a large restaurant and brewery, with 2 different dining sections. There is a bar at the front serving a selection of beers on tap, along with bottled options, plus all the other usual drinks.

It is a great space and was filled with locals & tourists alike when we where there. Service was friendly and efficient and it was a good experience in all.

Favorite Dish: I had read that they were famous for their beef, so that is what we had! I had the Rump Steak that was served in their special recipe "Trindade" sauce and chips, and Alex had the special Sirloin that was served with sliced potatoes.

The food was very good quality and tasted great. We also sampled a couple of the local beers. See the photos for more details.
