The cemetry is the only place to find the evidence of the town's large Chinese gold-rush community (a sad reflection on the times) where there are a number of unmarked graves and a set of ceremonial burning towers.
The cemetry is worth wondering through (map provided at the entrance gates highlighting the key graves and tombs) - interesting in that it is multi-denominational as well as the site of a number of historic graves.
