"Not so Australian..." Alice Springs Hotel Tip by Mrs.Passport

Alice Springs Hotel, Kos: 821 reviews and 0 photos

I stayed with my hubby in the apartment hotel Alice Springs in August 2004. It was run by a fake-smiling couple. Our room (with miserable cooking facilities) was tiny and there was no kitchen table at all in it. Somebody must have stolen chairs, too, because we didn't see them either... Anyway, there was a small plastic table on the balcony and two plastic chairs which couldn't carry the weight of a normal person. Great. The safety box was not in the room but behind many doors and keys and every time you needed your box, a staff member came from the pool bar if he wasn't busy. Usually he was...

The hotel was near the sea but no hope of seeing it on the balcony. You had to stare at the hotel next to ours. There were many blackouts during the week and I heard it's normal there. The pool was small and very dirty. The location of the hotel was fine but we won't stay there again.
