"Consumptions" Venice Tourist Trap Tip by ATLC

Venice Tourist Traps: 253 reviews and 263 photos

  San Marco square, Caffe Quadri

Venice is rife with tourist traps, not because it's not a good city but because it lives off tourism and then of course there are also more tourist straps.
As I've said before: don't buy fake designer bags. You can get fined for that if you are unlucky enough to have your luggage checked at the airport.

Also, if you want something to eat or drink, do it as far away as you can from the center around San Marco square. My very first Coke on San Marco square (ah well, you have to do it once, don't you?) I paid 7,90 euro and my (delicious) sandwich cost me 10,50 euro. I could've had a 3 course tourist menu for that at home!
