Brooklyn Bridge, New York City: 191 reviews and 340 photos
Frequently photographed and even the site of more than one marriage that I know of, the Brooklyn Bridge is an icon of New York City. The Brooklyn Bridge (originally the New York and Brooklyn Bridge), one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States, stretches 6,016 feet (1,834 m) over the East River from Manhattan to Brooklyn. On completion, it was the largest suspension bridge in the world and the first steel-wire suspension bridge.
Address: Spanning the East River.
Directions: Take the subway A, C High St. - Brooklyn Bridge or 4,5,6 Brooklyn Bridge.
Phone: (212) NEW-YORK
