Grand Lux Cafe (Eclectic/Int'l): "..." Grand Lux Cafe Tip by Phalaenopsis03

Inspired and modeled after the grandeurs of Europe, the Grand Lux Cafe was intended by it's creator to be an upscale version of its sister restaurant, the Cheesecake Factory. Not really a C. Factory fan myself 'cept for its cheesecake (white chocolate raspberry truffle - yummy) Grand Lux Cafe successfully provides a casual dining experience in a really beautiful, elegant setting.

Food at the Grand Lux is eclectic, borrowing from global influences, i.e., Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Thai, etc. and portions served are pretty generous. The wait staff are also nice and efficient. Design and decor are truly impressive - quite lavish for a casual dining spot. I came here with fellow foodie, Nini and we surprisingly enjoyed ourselves. There are several Grand Lux's across the country with the original at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

Favorite Dish: A couple of great options are the 1.) Grilled Pork Chop, glazed and served with mashed sweet potato, vegetables and their own chutney; and 2.) Jamaican Pork Tenderloin with black beans, mashed sweet potatoes, rice and spicy Jamaican black pepper sauce topped with a mango salsa
