"Chiado" Baixa Pombalina Tip by el_ruso

Baixa Pombalina, Lisbon: 27 reviews and 59 photos

This is the ritziest part of the old city of Lisbon, lined with expensive restaurants and stores. If you feel like buying jewelry or high end clothing, this is the spot. It is predictably full of people, and the steep streets can challenge you, if you are not fit. This area is also a home to several theaters, including the opera theater. If you like modern art, don't miss the gallery of Museo do Chiado.

To get here, you may take metro to Chiado, tram #28 or elevador de Santa Justa from Baixa.
