"Praca do Camoes" Praça Luís de Camões Tip by el_ruso

Praça Luís de Camões, Lisbon: 7 reviews and 15 photos

This plaza, named after the most famous Portuguese poet, marks transition from ritzy Chiado to the grittier Bairro Alto. This is one of the most beautiful spots in Lisbon in my opinion, and it seems that the poet's statue is a popular spot for the locals to meet at. The Brazilian embassy is located here as well. You can get here by taking electrico tram #28.

Address: 1200-243 Lisboa
