If you go for a walk along the harbour in Reykjavik you will no doubt come across a fabulous piece of art - the Solfar Suncraft.

The Suncraft is a sculpture of a Viking ship - a modern work of art completed in 1986. It is made from stainless steel and sits looking over the harbour - glistening in the sun when we were there.

The shapes and texture of the sculpture make it the perfect subject for arty photos, with the ocean as your back drop!

Directions: On the harbour foreshore - near the end of Frakkastigur Street
