"Tikal" Guatemala Things to Do Tip by skullcrusher

Guatemala Things to Do: 250 reviews and 474 photos

What do you think I'm going to say ...... if you're a history/archeology buff then you'll obviously want to make a trip to the region of El Peten and visit Tikal and maybe some of the other ancient sites in the area. Tikal covers a pretty large area and is definitely worth the effort of a trip. You are allowed to climb many of the temples and pyramids for great views. If you are afraid of heights or in poor shape (you get winded easily) then you might prefer to keep your feet on solid ground.

The Tikal Museum that's on site is quite small, but it contains some interesting displays and photos.
I suppose it's worth the 10Q.
