Arnie Mortons The Steakhouse: "Excellent Steakhouse" Los Angeles Restaurant Tip by malianrob

Los Angeles Restaurants: 925 reviews and 1,041 photos

Being a Steak lover, this place was calling my name. This is a great place to go for a fancy dinner. The food is excellent, the service is the best, the atmosphere is awesome. From the outside this place looks small, you go down the stairs and the place just opens up.
The portions are very generous and everything is ala carte. They not only have steak but also whole Maine lobster, salmon, and other enticing dishes.
It is pricey but well worth the money.
If you dont want to spend too much you can always go to happy hour from 5to 7pm Monday thru Friday. The drinks are less expensive and you are treated to free filet mignon sandwiches.
They definately cater to the business person in downtown. So if you are doing business in Downtown and want to treat an important client to a great, impressive dinner, this is the place to go to.
Mortons also has other locations besides this one for example: Beverly Hills, Burbank, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Ana near the South Coast Plaza. ans Las Vegas to name a few.

Favorite Dish: My favorite was the doube Filet Mignon, sauteed mushrooms and spinach, Garlic mashed potatoes. Washed everything down with an Arnir Mortons Cosmopolitan....yummy!
Rob had the oysters along with the 24ounce porterhouse steak and we shared the side dished.
