WHERE AND WHEN TO START?
Be punctual and report exactly at the time printed on your ticket (it's called the Pass in the Federal's English :-) by the sign (open my next picture) put by the Capitol Guide Service kiosk that is where I have obtained my free tickets. The Pass cannot be honoured after the time printed on it.
FIRST TO DO AND REMEMBER
We met there my Capitol Tour guide dressed in red who asked us first to stick round part of the ticket on well seen part of the cloth (jacket). It serves as an identificator during the Capitol Tour. He asked us keep close to him all the time and warned us that everyone walking without a guide inside the Capitol may be detained by the Capitol Police.
We took a pathway up the Capitol Hill to the South Visitor Receiving Facility located south of the Capitol Building. There is shuttle service to the top of the hill for handicapped or weak (old) visitors, available upon request. On the way we read again warning writings on prohibited items. Oour small lagguge was handy checked by security officers. Then we went upstairs to the outdoor terrace on the third level of the southern capitol's wing and went around clockwise towards the West Front.
