The Townsend and the Bear at Pt Hudson
by mtncorg

This small boat harbor is one of two in Port Townsend. Located at the end of Water Street, Port Hudson is home to both the Wooden Boat Foundation located at the head of the marina in the Cupola House. The is ground zero for a large variety of programs that are offered geared towards marine and boating activities of all sorts. The Wooden Boat Festival is the first week of September and brings out wooden classics of all sorts. The marina is limited to some 45 slips and is the former location for the Coast Guard station. A variety of marine businesses - boat yard, sail makers, yacht brokerage, kayak maker - can be found surrounding the small marina.

Directions: At the terminus of Water Street.
