"Worth-y Matravers" England Things to Do Tip by iandsmith

I'll kick off with one of the cutest villages going around. This must have been a Hollywood set, so perfect is it. It's in Dorset and it's called Worth Matravers. One of its features is the pub. This is one of only 20 or so pubs to have appeared in all 29 or so editions of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and when you visit this gem you can see why. There's no bar, just two niches in the wall that hold the two kegs. It also has its own museum. Outside there are a myriad of indescribable items lying around. And that's only the pub. Smack in the middle of this delightful village are the ducks. The town ducks if you please. They wander around freely and have their own kennels in the park in the middle of town. Some local also owns a Bugatti that he drives to work.
I loved it and, if you like villages, you will also.
Just down the road is Kingston, do not miss the hotel in autumn - spectacular!
