This is Bedford's main shopping centre, at least in the town centre. It has most of the major chain stores found anywhere in Britain.
What to buy: You can find the same items that you would anywhere in the UK.
What to pay: About the same as in other shops in Britain.
Directions: Follow the one-way system round St. Paul's square, keep to the left lane. At pedestrian traffic lights, turn left into Horne Lane (Harpur Centre on your right). First turning on right to basement car park.
