Favorite thing: When European lived in Bône, this was a department store. Now, in Annaba, it has been turned to a kind of souk for women clothing. The entrance is the same (first photo) but if you do not know it, you would never know it is a store : there is no sign, no name !

In this former department store (second photo), the alleys are even narrower than both in the French market or in the Arab market. This is not really a problem because though it is busy, when clothing is involved, there are much less customers than when food is involved !

The third photo shows more clothes and our Algerian colleague and friend that explain to Françoise how it is working;

The third and the fourth photo show women clothing hanging from the ceiling or from railing; Here, nothing is for tourists as there are no tourists !
