Favorite thing: VISIT THIS PAGE THRO MY NY TRAVEL PAGE FOR THE HYPERLINKS TO SHOW

Like a poor mans CitySearch, AOL City Guide has the added plus of searchable event/date functions.

Ask A New Yorker.Com gives a Q&A forum similar to VirtualTourist. Worth a browse just for questions you never thought of asking.

Limited info for most places on Guardian Travel, but NYC is one of the best. The Independent is worth a peek as well.

The coolest 'scene' bars, clubs and restaurants can be found in Hip Guide, and it's pretty accurate.

Concierge.Com is an upmarket travel magazine with limited (but select) reviews, while Village Voice covers upcoming events in more of a news style format.

Well written, with regular articles on food & entertainment, the Manhattan Users Guide is similar to the Guardian site, only better as it's written by locals. Likewise, NYC Visit is a regular NYC tourist site.

For current and upcoming events, you'll struggle to beat Whats On When.

Fondest memory: The old favourites Fodors, Frommers, CitySearch, Time Out, Yahoo Travel, & NY Times shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

If you need to find anywhere quickly Map Quest or Hot Maps will usually sort it out.

Does exactly what it says on the tin at Destination Coupons.Com.
