I had hoped to see thatched cottages in Great Britain. Selworthy promised much and they were there, though few in number, set on a picture perfect hillside.
Chipping Campden was not on my list of places to see thatch but, as you will note from my intro, it delivered in spades.
Again, there weren't that many of them but they were superb. All seemingly relatively freshly thatched set amidst lovely manicured lawns, cottage gardens, topiary and/or stone fences. Delightful seems an inadequate description. Beautiful not quite broad enough.
I was shaking my head at how stunning they could get. I hope you get some enjoyment out of them as well.
