  Fredericksburg Battlefield
by chewy3326

There are many Civil War battlefields scattered throughout the US; I haven’t visited a majority of them. The Civil War (1861-1865) was the bloodiest war fought on US soil, and involved the North (Union) and the South (Confederacy).

Some of the more famous battlefields include Manassas, Fredericksburg, Petersburg, Vicksburg, Gettysburg, Shiloh, Antietam, and Appomattox. A large percentage of the battlefields are protected by the National Park Service.

Directions: All across eastern America, mainly in Virginia, Maryland, Tennesse, Pennsylvania, and Mississippi.
