  Taster Menu at Roy's
by Roadquill

MOVED TO KAANAPALI - I liked it when it was in Kihei cause I don't get up to Kaanapali....;-)

Roy's is known for it's Hawaiian Fusion and I believe the first Roy's was in Honolulu and now there are several in California also. We had a great meal at Roy's in Kihei. I had the taster menu, which was absolutely fav. Even though the portions are relatively small, I was still full by the end of the meal. Other dishes we enjoyed were the seared scallops and the shortribs.

Favorite Dish: I enjoyed the tasting menu. The seared tuna and sauce was fresh and tender. The kalua pork stuffed cabbage was excellent. The steamed fish was moist and very tasty, the the best was the filet of maui beef, coupled with the oyster mushrooms. It just melted in your mouth with a burst of flavor. Most excellent.
