Suppenkuche: "Enough with the Fusine already..." Suppenküche Tip by RblWthACoz

Suppenküche, San Francisco: 4 reviews and 2 photos

Listen chefs of San Francisco!! I can only eat so much Asian fused cuisine! Then I need a break. Thankfully I found a place like Suppenkuche. Untainted German cuisine in as pure a sense as I think one could expect outside of the country itself, the restaurant is to be taken seriously before entering. Get ready to eat. And get ready to eat a lot. The portions are generous and the beer that is available to accompany it is in wide variety. Of course, the brew is heavy in the German style, but it's all good stuff. From Spaten to Celebrator, it could even be worth it to just go and sample all the beautiful brews served off the draft. With a friendly and relaxed staff, the place is worth going to....and going to again after that. Another highlight is the seating style. Most of the plain wooden tables are the same size, and you just sit wherever there is room, which means of course that you will most likely be sitting with complete strangers right next to you.

Favorite Dish: the beer ;-) he he he...but the food is good too of course
