Since 2004, the main roads had been under upgrading/rehabilitation. It affects the main road of the circumferential Bohol road and the inner Bohol. The eastern part is almost complete up to Jagna with while the western part has still some works starting from the towns of Cortez to Maribojoc. The eastern part which leads to the Loboc-Carmen destinations has still some uncomplete works at the bridge connecting Albur and Loay. Minor road works likewise affect Tagbilaran City thus affecting the travel to Panglao Island

Be sure to consult with the driver or operator of such road works before proceeding with your trip.
