Cafe d'Orient: "Seafood by the sea" Beirut Restaurant Tip by travelmad478

Beirut Restaurants: 213 reviews and 212 photos

Cafe d'Orient (seen in the background of this photo) is a Lebanese seafood restaurant that pokes out into the Mediterranean just west of the St.-Georges marina. The mezzes are great, and if you can manage to pack in more food after that, entrees specialize in grilled fish. This place reminded me very much of the many fish restaurants around Istanbul--only here, you look at the Mediterranean instead of the Bosphorus.
