Day 2 : Hofburg area

The Volksgarten is indeed a great place to sit down and to relax.

In this Volksgarten there some remarkable statues like the great statue of the murdered Empress Elisabeth made by Friedrich Ohmann (see pictures).

There is also a beautiful monument for the famous poet Franz Grillparzer, made by Karl von Hasenauer.

But the most remarkable building is the Greek temple, the Theseus Temple made by Peter von Nobile (1823).
