"Overcrowded and Isolated" China Favorite Tip by aukjejetty

Fondest memory: While traveling through China you will be amazed at the differences in population density. Beijing certainly feels like a big, crowded city. On the other hand, you will be able to hike for hours in the countryside and not see anyone.
On the picture I was walking through a ricepaddy [during a biketrip around Yangshuo], and nobody, except for my friend was around, and that in the country of 1.2 billion souls. Also Xinjiang province is not crowded. Places I haven't been but are also much less populated are Inner Mongolia and Tibet.
