If you are sightseeing in Verona, you should seriously consider getting a VeronaCard. For just 12 euros for a three-day card you can gain free entry to museums, churches and monuments in the city and travel free on AMT bus services. Even the one-day card for 8 euros is good value. A couple of visits, plus maybe a bus ride, and you've recouped the cost. There is a list on the back of the card giving the places it is valid, and these include the Arena, the Five Churches, Torre dei Lamberti, Casa di Guiletta and several more.

The cards can be bought at all the places that participate in the scheme, as well as at tabacchi in the centre.
