In 1913 Grand Central Terminal was built for the main intention to inspire people who pass through this urban meeting point with lofty feelings of civic pride and appreciation of Western architectural traditions. It is designed by Warren & Wetmore with Reed & Stem. In 1996 the Beyer Blinder Belle firm started doing a total restoration with the budget of $175 million. It takes two years bring the “grand” back to terminal.
