A 1/4 mile long pedestrian mall extending from the Kaminarimon Gate to the Hozomon Gate, which is the actual entrance to the shrine. It is lined by dozens of small stores and shops selling everything from kimonos, Japanese papers, jackets, and dolls to tacky souveniers.
