During the iceless times, there is no work for ice breakers. Then a fleet of ice breakers can be seen at Katajanokka because that's where they are stationed. You can go to the peer or you can take a sight seeing cruise which goes past them nearby.

Address: Katajanokka island
Directions: Take tram nr 4 and got to the end station at Katajanokka, then walk towards north until you come to the ice breaker peer. Or, if you are close to the orthodox cathedral, you can also walk along the north side of Katajanokka until you see them to your left
