The Montreal Science Centre presents many exhibitions, most of them geared toward families and/or kids, about all things scientific. It also contains an IMAX theatre that shows 3D movies, but entry to the theatre is not included in the Exploration package (i.e. the ticket that grants you access to the exhibition halls).

This is not a "must-see" in Montreal, but many tourists cannot resist the urge to have their photo taken with the giant red molecule in front of the Centre. So if you are ever walking in the Old Port area and stumble across this weird sculpture, you will know why it is there!

Address: 333 de la Commune Street West
Directions: The Montreal Science Centre is located in front of King Edward Pier along the waterfront in Old Montreal, facing St-Laurent Street.
Phone: 1 877 496-4724 or (514) 496-4724
