The Armenian Mother-of-God's Assumption Cathedral consists of three parts. The oldest one - the Sanctuary is from XIV century. There is The Last Supper paining on the altar central nave, picture of Worship of Shepherds or The Holy Trinity mosaic. The Middle part of the Cathedral was built in XVII century and it has a great hall with golden wallpapiers, wooden ceiling and a chapel. The last part - the narthex - was built in XX century.

On June 2003 during his visit to Ukraine the Pope John Paul II prayed in the Armenian Cathedral. The Cathedral is open every day from 8:30 a.m. till 8:30 p.m.

You need to pay three hryvna for taking pictures inside.
