Definitely not my favorite mode of transportation, but I get paid pretty well to be onboard. Unfortunately it likes to sail a little too much. Last year I think we spent one month in home port. The rest of the time was spent deployed or doing other missions. I guess the upside to it all is I save a good chunk of money always being at sea. Anyway, the first picture is of the Harpers Ferry getting ready to take in an LCAC. The next picture is of the Harpers Ferry and the Juneau in the India Basin at the Sasebo ship yard.
