McGlinchey's: "Eat breakfast like a local" Doylestown Restaurant Tip by bboger

Doylestown Restaurants: 5 reviews and 0 photos

Located on East State Street (across from the County Theatre) this small restaurant is open primarily for breakfast and lunch. The food is good, and very reasonably priced. This is where the locals come to read the paper and watch the foot traffic on the street below. Hey, your in Pennsylvania -- have some scrapple with those eggs! On the rare occasion that McGlinchey's is open for dinner, its a big deal.

Favorite Dish: As I mentioned above -- this is Pennsylvania! I go with eggs, scrapple and home fries. McGlinchey's also serves chipped cream beef on toast. Another PA favorite. Lots of other breakfast and lunch dishes are available and generally are named things like "The Jury" or "The Barrister" as a reference to the nearby county courthouse.
