The Viking Museum is in the basement of the Nordea Bank, Skt Clemens Torv 6, opposite the Domkirke. This area was the original core of 1000 AD Arhus. The museum contains some of the Viking remains and artifacts excavated here. Hours M-F 10-16, Thur 10-18, free. Exhibits include a description of the history of Arhus, sections of the original ramparts, section of the original road (oldest in Denmark, around 1000 AD) and artifacts. Picture taking allowed.
