  Cycling on Brookway Bridge
by elPierro

So you're walking around in New York, down Broadway you see these bike couriers cycling around with no fear for their lives. OK, it's not really a convincing image of getting on the bike, but for those who know to cycle it will be a great expierience, cycling down Broadway, past Times Square, of on 5th Avenue, Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge.. cycling is possibly the fastest way to get around the city. Good nerves and a pair of extra watchfull eyes are mandatory though.
For those afraid of taking it on the big road some tips: cycling straight ahead is easy, if you need to make a right turn it'll be easy to, watch out for the One-way streets though.
Turning left is more difficult, you could switch some lanes, OR simply cross the street like pedestrians do. Cycle to the end of the crossing, turn your bike and line-up for the next green light.
Cycling in Central Park is far less dangerous.
