Daniel's Bistro: "More French Food" Daniel's Bistro - Leith Tip by Suet

Daniel's Bistro - Leith, Edinburgh: 2 reviews and 0 photos

This is right on the docks of Leith, opposite the Scottish Executive. It is where the old railway tracks were along side the docks. They have long pool with lamps outside which looks attractive at night, and also room to dine alfresco on the pavement in the summer. They fill your bread basket on demand and are attentive with the wine pouring and filling the water jug.

We dine here a lot. I like this restaurant, it is clean and modern, good fast service and excellent food, A little less pricey than Vintners or Wisharts, but good none the less.

Starters are from 4.75 for escargot, main courses around 13-14, desserts 4.30. Pouilly Fume 23.50. Total cost of a meal for two 64.75.

You can park the car in the large car park free of charge.

Favorite Dish: I really like the creme brulee dessert. I can never seem to get enough! The isles flottante are heavenly, light, creamy and melt in the mouth. They do good fish dishes here too.
