"Astronomical clock" Astronomical Clock Tip by german_eagle
Astronomical Clock, Prague: 163 reviews and 260 photos
A site that draws crowds is the astronomical clock on the southern facade of the town hall. It was built 1410/1490. Every full hour figures are running above the clock (Jesus and the apostels). It's funny, but nothing special.
However, I was fortunate enough to see the figure play from inside the town hall - right when the guided tour started the play started too. That was much more interesting! You can see how the mechanic works and see the figures from two meters distance (through a glass window).
Address: Starometska radnice, Starometske namesti.
Directions: Old-Town Square
