Balboa Park is a nice place to take a stroll and look at Spanish architecture. I came here several times on my trip just to sit and have lunch or sit in a quiet place to write in my travel journal. The Park is home to many museums which you should know are not really open on Mondays. The Museum of Man was quite interesting. You also have to have a meal in the Prado Restaurant which is superb.
