Chez Fred, Eten & Drinken, which means Eating & Drinking, is the full name of this small bistro-style restaurant. It opens at 9 in the morning on most days for breakfast and it stays open until late at night. After dinner it's a good place to chill at the bar.

Although the location is not very attractive and isn't in a busy part of the city the restaurant was fully booked when we were there. Probably because of the good (young) atmosphere, the friendly service and - most of all - the delicious food.

Favorite Dish: First courses:
terrine of wild game with home-made confit d'onions
traditional beef carpaccio with rucola, pine nuts and virgin olive oil

Main courses:
fettucini with a selecftion of mushrooms and bacon in a creamy sauce
lamb fillet with green beans and baked potatoes

Dessert:
rice pudding with caramelized sugar

Opening hours:
Sunday - Wednesday: 9am - 12pm
Thursday - Saturday: 9am - 3am
Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
