Rambler's Inn and The Nag's Head: "Only Two Restaurants in Edale" Edale Restaurant Tip by Smutzie

There are only two pubs/restaurants in Edale. One is the Rambler's Inn, not far from the train station. The food is tasty and reasonable. I had the Cumberland sausage ring with apple mash in a yorkshire pudding. My partner had the salmon. There are a few local beers to choose from including Porker's Pride. But this pub gets crowded over the weekend and we had trouble getting a table on Saturday night. We had more luck at the Nag's Head. To get there, walk up the main road. It is on the other side of the village but it will only take about 10 minutes walk from the station. It is said to be the beginning of the Pennine Way. This pub is made of several different rooms, each with its own bar. We got some delicious chocolate fudge cake there. Each pub also offer accomodation. Both pubs also have fireplaces, which made them very cosy, if you could get a table nearby.
